As indicated above, you can unsubscribe yourself. A moderator can also close your account via a ban. Up to you.

You create your own password when you sign up on THF. You must have had a password to sign in, you can't post without first signing in so you are talking absolute nonsense for starters.

Susan_88, you might have subscribed to notifications in your browser. If you're in Chrome, go to Settings, then scroll down and click Show Advanced Settings. In the Privacy section click the Content settings button. Find the Notifications section (8th from the top). Click the Manage exceptions button. Find tomshardware.onesignal.com / Allow. Click the X which will appear to the right as you mouse over it.

You'll probably get prompted again by the browser if you return to Tom's Hardware. Just be sure to click Block this time.
