USB Displays Unsupported File when plugged into the TV .
The USB storage device works on On my way! Other TV and all other devices .. My granddaughter just wants to watch Frozen in bed..
I've been trying to resolve it for way to long can anyone HELP

question1 : Does it reads the USb and then shows unsupported when trying to play?
question2 : What format is your video file and are you sure it is in the suppproted list of formats playable by your TV?
you can try converting the video to a simpler one like mp4 with "format factory" software.

I have even resorted to trying her x box and that doesn't even display the USB option at all
I'm not computer wise a bit illiterate especially the hardware side

You still have not answered my questions.
Sometimes the USB drive format (NTFS ) is also not supported by such systems .If it is a NTFS drive, Try converting it to fat32 by right clicking on pen drive icon in my computer and clicking on format . Choose fat32 and rest options as it is.
You can check If it NTFS by right click in my computer and properties. See the filesystem heading.
