Unsupported usb problem

I have a Toshiba SD2010KB dvd player with usb port when I plug in my usb stick it keeps coming up unsupported file , I have checked that usb is FAT32 so what is wrong can you advise

Check video file format that is supported by dvd player. Unsupported video file will not works in dvd player.
