Unsure about case specs

I am new to the PC gaming world as I decided that since I will be attending university to do a computer game software course, that il need a gaming PC. I have all the components except the case and was wondering what specs will I need to look for in order to complete my build.

If it's required, I will list my components below:
AMD FX-6350 CPU
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AM3+ ATX motherboard
EVGA GeForce GTX660 3GB GDDR5 graphics card
G.Skill 16GB DDR3 RAM
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
Seagate 600 250GB SSD
And also a CPU cooler fan.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated 🙂

Any mid tower case or bigger is what you need to fit an ATX motherboard! Motherboard compatibility is usually listed in the specs for the cases so you are looking for ATX size support.

A mid-tower will have more than enough space for all your components. You would still have plenty even with an SLI configuration.

As for cases suggestions, look at Corsair and Fractal Design. They make great quality enclosures !
