Unsure about Overclocking

So I purchased a i7-3770 to run alongside my 1080, and i also bought grizzly thermal paste and a Cooler Master 212 EVO, meaning my temps are below 50c, touching only 56-57 during UserBenchMark testing. It is the non K 3770, but im wondering if it would be safe to overclock?

you could OC your GPU for better performance, just keep an eye on temps. use MSI AB and slowly bump clocks until you are no longer stable. My 1080 will OC to +150 core clock and +325 mem clock. not all cards are the same though.

I want to play Rust. It's not optimized at all and I need a better cpu for the performance. My card is already running way too hot for me to OC, but I don't need to touch the card. It's the processor I've gotta touch. I upgraded from a 1050ri and my fps stayed the same running an i7-2600, it was the processor upgrade that bumped the frames
