unsure - gtx 970 or r9 390 ??

i have already ask but my situation has changed.

Basically have £250 - £350 available and had my eye on the gtx 970 but the i have come across the r9 390 and now dont know what to do

i just want a card that can play newer games like Star wars and assasins creed but also the 2016 games like T.C Division and such. plans are 1080p for now but may upgrade to 1440p or even 2k.

at the moment i have:
corsair 750w bronz
Gigabyte z87x-ud3h
inte i5 4670
Asus HD 7770 (will be replaced)
4x 4gb corsair vengence
1TB WD HDD caviar blue
250GB SDD samsung evo
and 4x cooler master 12cm fans

now, do i need to upgrade anything else?
i dont plan to OC at all but MAY change my mind

lastly, which card is better for what i have planed?

i am read some review and i feel that they were biased towards the other so i need an unbiased oppinion.

If you have multiple monitors, or plan gaming above 1080p, go with the 390. If you will stay at single monitor at 1080p, go with the 970.

I don't think you'll get a definite answer to such a controversial question. You should check the benchmark results, the prices and go with the chipset manufacturer you like.

What about the vram issue that the 970 has? Will that be enough for the future?

3,5 Gb of vram is enough for now at least, but no one can tell about the future.

Those benchmarks can not be right. It shows 780 ti over 970 which is not the case. They must be outdated.

We are talking about 390, not 390x
