Unsure if Kraken X31 is working.

Hey,

Recently put together the build and have a Kraken X31 on a 4690k. First time installing a CPU cooler and all plugs have been connected. The CPU temperature is on a steady climb all the way up to 55 celsius while in the bios. Turned the machine off thinking this was too high.

No apparent noise is coming from the cooler although I'm not sure what noise to expect. The fan on the radiator is working .

Sometimes temps in the BIOS are quite high since power saving options usually don't work while in the BIOS so you should check temps in Windows. As long as everything is plugged in the cooler should be working.

The exact same thing happens on every UEFI BIOS I've used on my AMD systems. It's very common on both AMD and Intel platforms.

55c is not a problem for a 4690k. Not even close to the limit there. I would worry if it starts getting into the 70c+ range, since the max before throttling is usually around 95c or so.

Let the system get to about 75 celsius and it booted up. Temps dropped down to an idle temp of 18. Thank you
