Unsure if my motherboard can support the new GPUs

I want to update my gpu but unsure if i have to upgrade the cpu first which might result in updating the mobo aswell. mobo says it runs the 3.0 gpus but would like some clarification on this. thank you for your time.

Yes, you can run the new GPUs on your rig, they are all backward compatible, should be no problem
