Question Unsure of which motherboard is good enough to OC I7 9700k?

I'm looking to build a pc and want to OC to >5GHz. I'm also keen on spending wisely and not just buying an overkill mobo. Been looking around and unsure about which motherboard I should use for OC? Aorus is a bit out of my price range which is $280 aud max so was wondering if a MSI MAG z390 Tomahawk or the Gigabyte z390 Gaming x has good enough VRMs to oc?

Between those two boards listed in your last sentence, my vote would go for the Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X. What sort of options do you have at your disposal? Australia tends to have some pricey hardware

I mean I could realistically save up a little more and get the aorus pro or something which is like $100 more than the Gaming x/tomahawk but I'm really just unsure if i need it like I'd rather just spend on necessities such as being able to oc to 5 ghz. Is it possible for this clock to be reached over extended periods of time?
