So I’ve changed motherboard from an old gigabyte model to a h410m-A PRO and one of the cables labelled “Vcc D-D+ GND” is really confusing me and I have no idea where to put it. Could someone please tell me where it would go on my motherboard. On my old one it went into “F_USB” but in the new one the only available slot nearby is “JFP2” which I’ve been told is rgb and stuff. Here is a picture of my old motherboard slots where they went into.
yes, you can see by comparing the motherboards that your newer MSI only has a single USB 2.0 header.
while the older Gigabyte offers two.

personally i would return the MSI and get something better and fully compatible.
this board offers almost no VRM heat dissipation, offers very little for fan control, has no DP support, only two rear USB 3.* ports, and rather low-end onboard audio.

That is internal USB connector. Goes to USB header.
On H410M-A PRO it is called JUSB1.
Read user manual of your motherboard.

Hi, thanks for replying so basically there is already a usb labelled cable in the JUSB1 and this cable doesn’t fit inside JUSB2 so I’m considering whether both of them are necessary. Here is a picture of my old motherboard slots where they went into. View: https://imgur.com/a/QTB0WF7
