A couple of days ago, my father's computer running Windows 10 received the windows update and subsequently began either receiving a select keyboard language bluescreen or a simple boot loop where the computer would hit the spinning wheel and restart.
He needs a working computer for his business, and after deciding to purchase another one, the computer was made unusable in a different way. The taskbar had no icons, the start menu wouldn't work, and none of the Windows 10 system settings are accessible. I can, however, open various non-metro apps through the run dialog.
The original system is this one.
The new system is this computer.
