[SOLVED] Unusual BSOD during game session

Hello people This forum has helped big time in the past, so here goes!

Yesterday during a regular gaming session a blue screen error sprung up out of nowhere and crashed my system. Normally I can decipher what went wrong, but I'm absolutely baffled because I've never come across anything that read REFERENCE_BY_POINTER. Bluescreenview has come up with dump_wmimmc.sys and ntoskrnl.exe as culprits.

Searching around has just sent me in loops pointing the finger at Nprotect Gameguard that the game PS02 uses, a potential overheat somewhere, outdated drivers and other misc things. Prior to the crash absolutely nothing was out of the ordinary and temps were well below 70.

Currently, going over drivers and running the Windows version of memory test while I troubleshoot more. Can anyone with a knack for debugging make head or tail?
