Unusual performnace analysis while playing assassin creed odyssey on laptop

Hello guyz.. I just ran into a problem. Plz be kind and help me.
Recently i just noticed that, while playing assassin creed odyssey on my laptops battery power, the fps graph is irregular with varying slope. But when connected to external power supply, it is just a straight line and works smooth.
What might be the possible cause? Is it that my battery is weak or something else.....

The laptop limits performance to sustain batter life when unplugged. This leads to worse performance

Can i change that some how.... I played it smoothly for a month. Then just few days after the prblm started

Thanks for the option , but i tried.... I just Maximized the performance under intel and my amd card power play.

Yet, one option left to try, this so called switchable dynamic graphics card .... Should i try that?
