Unusual rise in temps - GTX 970

Just lately my GTX 970 has been climbing up to 70 degrees in Battlefield Hardline multiplayer. Previous to this I have usually been able to maintain 60-63 degrees with 35% fan speed. Is something wrong with my GPU or has the game I'm playing possibly become more demanding?

Give the card a de-dusting with compressed air, it could just be a build up of dust or crap.

Thanks, I'll check but I do air dust regularly.

I think it could be a game specific issue. Ran GTA V tonight with high - ultra settings at 59 degrees with 35% fans. Maybe BHL has updated their graphics? Seems highly demanding and high temps for the sort of game it is..
