a lump appeared under the tracpad of this laptop a while ago. It pushed he trackpad of the laptop up as it grew. I recently started having difficulties with kernel_task and, after some experimentation, found that pushing on the lump away from the keyboard helped. I poked a hole in the lump with a fork and kernel_task got better immediately, though there is a smell coming from the hole. Is whatever's in the hole safe?

I've been keeping the hole covered, though I occasionally hold my breath and squeeze more air out. what comes out smells like something burning and stings the throat. The eyes sting, too. The chemical that smells like something burning seems to be lighter than air, as it floats up, though there seems to be another one that stays lower down that leads to the air feeling colder when it is breathed in and leads to the sensation of the airflow being restricted.

Specific answers please, and I would prefer a detailed explanation if doable.
