Hi All,
(Before this gets moved to a different category) _ I have a device (PS5 HD Camera) that has gone faulty and I am trouble shooting it to locate its fault, but cant even work out which pin is the +Ve .etc......

Inside and mounted to the motherboard is a USB female connector..... but this is no ordinary USB connector as it is the size and shape of a "Micro-B USB, however this has 9 pins.....but before you reply back with "have you tried the Micro-B 3.0, I can confirm that it is not this shape....

I heave searched the internet high and low, also been on USB.org but I cannot find anything resembling this connector.

I am struggling to work out how to get images of it on here at present

Anyone able to help me please?

EDITED to include images

With 9 pins, I wonder if it is actually a serial port. They are quite common for booting and debug testing during manufacture.

Hmm didn’t think of that one… it’s very odd because it literally has this unusual usb type connector, which then has the plug end which connects to it, but then it transfers it to a USB-A 3.0 standard plug
