Greetings all I hope your Christmases were suitably merry.
I'm planning to both upgrade and downsize at the same time.

I've currently got normal sized gear in a fractal node 605 and I'm considering the node 202 as the pc is mainly used for media purposes. And I don't want a massive unsightly base unit on show.
I do game however and I've got a gtx 980ti coming soon, not sure what brand it is though so it's size is a random factor.

Currently I have:
MSI FXA990 GD80
AMD FX6300 black
8GB DDR3 2400MHZ
GTX 770
2x hybrid drives.
800w seasonic gold

Fairly certain the mobo won't fit in the 202 is there an itx one that will support the fx6300 while allowing a future upgrade?
As you can probably tell from the components I don't upgrade regularly so whatever I get will have to last.

There is no worthwhile upgrade for an FX based system. The motherboard/CPU/RAM will all have to be replaced as a group. If you are making a change, this would be the best time to do the big swap, especially if you have to change motherboards anyway. That motherboard change may require (and would be benefited by) clean OS install even if you stay with the same CPU. An AM4 motherboard, with a Ryzen CPU will give you a base to upgrade for several years.
