Up Grade Mac Pro 2008

I am using my old system because I work on Hebrew applications, such as Adobe inDesign Middle East Version.
I have a whole set of hebrew fonts that only work on the old system.

Soooo, If i upgrade the RAM to 16 GB, is that going to improve the system performance? Because I read that the processor is the more important component to speed things up.

I am sitting in a office with a grey desk, and grey walls. I am tired of listening to my Mac Pro as it whizzes through opening or saving a file.

If I could only work on a quicker system. Oh man. That would bve great

Yes ram would be very important in applications like that, but if you doing something more cpu intensive then you must upgrade your cpu, also to say 16gb is more than enough just make sure it can support it. Plus if you want better load times get a SSD if you want.

I checked with Apple.
SSD is not compatable
