Up to 216 Cores?

Hi all.

I recently viewed a graphics card on eBay and in th edescription it states "up to 216 cores." What exactly does this mean? Is it 216 cores or not? I am a bit confused I would have thought it was either 216 cores or 192? The card is GTX260 576M 896MB which I believe is XFX and on some websites it states 192 Cores and I cant find anywhere that says 216......Help

some vendor put OC SP on GTX260 version 216sp and it makes me confused for a moment. it makes me wonder if you want to down clock it you can get it back to 192sp? 😀

I have Googled but no luck......so can you down clock to 192? Hmmmmm

older GTX260 have 192sp, the later production the sp has been added to 216 which has better performance (but of course it will be more expensive). in other words it was another variant of GTX260
