So I'll be building around the 7800x3d and will post my tentative parts list below, I'll end up getting whatever is the best deal at the time. Mostly want input or options for my case as recommendations for mATX seem to be all over the place. Right now I've landed on the FD Pop mini.
Wants:
Top mount 240 rad support
As compact as possible so likely optimize airflow(i.e. mesh panels) but if its compact and performs well then that works
Good quality but I don't need to be spending ridiculous amounts on it, probably $150 at most.
Other parts
Mobo: whatever b650 with wifi is cheapest
RAM: seems like 6400 is the best bang for the buck, 6600 gets spendy quick. Not sure if CAS affects performance much on Ryzen
Gpu: TBD likely 7900xtx
Storage: m.2 2TB, whatever is a good deal
PSU: whatever reputable 650+W 80+ golf or better modular is on sale.
Cooler: totally up in the air, just threw the Nzxt in there
