Upcoming Monitors in 2017?

I was thinking of upgrading to 1440p for my gaming setup, along with a GTX 1080. However, I thought that maybe new ( and better ) monitors may be just around the corner, so if waiting for a couple of months for a better monitor is an option, I would happily wait. There are a couple of pretty good monitors right now which are the ASUS PG279Q and the Acer XB271HU. Both of them are 1440p 144hz monitors ( OC-able to 165hz but I doubt it would make any difference ). So My question is: When will the next batch of new monitors of 2017 be released?

You shouldn't really need to wait as I think IPS is good enough and quality OLED displays will be very expensive if they come out at all next year. I don't think there is anything that will come out in the next two years that will make a good 2k 144hz IPS/TN monitor obsolete.

The upcoming monitors will mostly be the 4k ones, the current 1440p 144hz monitors will be actual for next few years so you won't see much new monitors in this category.
