Yo, folks!

I have a general question about this build. I'm wondering, if there are some good new components/alternatives coming in the near future, or am I safe to buy these parts without later regret?

m - ASRock Z370 Pro4
p - Intel i7-8700K
c - BeQuiet Dark Rock 4
g - Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070
r - 2x8GB Trident Z RGB 3600MHz CL17
s - SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
P - EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W
C - Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass

Thanks for the replies!

s - SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500GB can be swapped with SSD Samsung 860 EVO 500GB. No major gains here, still its ~50 months from 850 release :)
g - Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070 (in a month or 2 we will know if its worth to wait for 11XX series of nvidia cards, if you're not in a rush, then wait till ~1 July. Cards still gets a bit cheaper after mining madness, so you might get yours ~50$ cheaper OR know that its worth to wait for 1170 card)

Very nice answers! Thank you!

For storage I'm going for 860, little difference but it's newer.
For GPU I'll wait a pair of months to see what 1170 has to offer.
And lastly, I sure as hell want to wait for that 9700K.

Seems like it's not a good time to buy a gaming PC right now.

Why would you go for an SSD over an M2? The M2 970 will be the better option. Toms did a SSD review today.
As far as the 9700K, that's not what I meant. Intel are meant to be releasing a cpu with 8c/16t to keep up with AMD and the Ryzen 2600X.
GPU, def wait on that, but like everything, the longer you wait the more that comes out and you will regret buying whatever you bought because something new will come out :)
