[SOLVED] update asus bios without battery

apologies if this question has been answered already, I have tried looking!!

my battery is dead and I get stopped with the message ‘battery must be over 20%’, and the only override options I find are for earlier versions of EZ Flash... Help appreciated!

Go buy a battery, like $2. Then worry about the bios. It's almost always a standard CR2032 3v watch battery. You can find them everywhere from drug stores to hardware stores.
