Tom's Hardware has received one of the very few available final test units of Intel's Core 2 Duo T-series CPUs, formerly code-named "Merom". During its initial two benchmark runs, the chip delivered first evidence that it can be up to 20% faster than Core Duo ("Yonah"), while consuming less or equal power.
