Is it worth to update my Asus M5a99fx r2 motherboard build or should I aim to build a new PC with AM4 socket??

If update is recomended what CPU and GPU would you recomend?

Do you use the PC for gaming or daily usage?

For gaming, the gt 740 is not for the gaming, also what PSU did you have? For daily usage, just keep use it.

If you have the budget, yes, you should build the whole new am4 PC.
