there is no support from HP for any of these S series pc's, desktops or Laptop/notebooks.i spent all morning searching every possible nook and cranny HP ever had.

If HP doesn't offer anything, then there's nothing to get. What exactly is your goal for which you're trying to update the BIOS?

my goal is that this computer has needed the BIOS updated since 2008. the original owner should have done it years ago while the update was available from HP. I have installed a new video card in the system Nvidia Geforce Gt100 (sf) for small form factor desktops and when i boot the computer i get the message. "please update your BIOS to the latest edition in order to run this video application " then the screen just goes blank . the video PCI card came out of a HP slimline 2005 S7428N desktop that was also a Media center 2005 edition exactly like this one and it worked fine but the CPU failed in it so i bought itfrom the original owner for for parts for mine.So that is my goal to upgrade the BIOS to the latest/ last update that was available for it and to get the new PCI video working so that the windows media center will actually play the newer videos and newer games correctly. I know there is an update for these in 2008 as my S7727C has an update from the original installed in 2008. It's finding it or someone who has a link to it that is the problem .
