Yo, I'm once again COMP-GROUNDED due to grades... whatever. I've got my computer for 2 days (tonight and tommorrow). School will be out in a couple weeks and I'll get my computer back then. Till then I won't be around much (I know you're oh-so-sad!).

Neways, for starters, check out these pics:
<A HREF="http://members.cox.net/theocking/1.JPG" target="_new">1</A>
<A HREF="http://members.cox.net/theocking/1 (2).JPG" target="_new">2</A>
<A HREF="http://members.cox.net/theocking/1 (4).JPG" target="_new">3</A>
<A HREF="http://members.cox.net/theocking/P1010068.JPG" target="_new">4</A>

My mod is almost complete... I still need to glue the plexi-glass behind the ATI logo, which I'll do soon. Anyways, pretty cool eh?

As you may remember from a previous post, I am now running a mobile 2400+ on a DFI NFII Ultra Infinity. I've decided on the 24/7 speed of 225x11. I have benched at 235x11 with 100% stability (although I havn't primed it, because priming is for fags). I've also run at 240x10.5, and 200x13 (not 100% stable...got me through a couple Sandra runs, no Super Pi though).
200x13 Sanra MIPS: 9845
235x11 Sandra MIPS: 9793
235x11 Sandra MEM: 3560
235x11 Super Pi: 38 seconds.

I lost some of my screen captures so as you can see the above info. is not complete, but it gives you an idea.

BTW, I can't run 3D Mark 01. This has been the case since before I got my new components, but I can't think of exactly when it happened. When I try to open it, it says I need DX8.1 and proper drivers. I've uninstalled DX using DX Eradicator, and installed DX9.0b, and I've also tried various Catalyst versions, with no luck. Any ideas? I really wanna break 20k.

computer-grounded? WTF honestly, tell your parents to go f*ck eachother instead of taking out their anger on you.

Nice overclock on the CPU, Check chipset drivers.

Thx Gen, and you can call me whatever you want;) WS, Willamette, OC, The_OC_King (<---my true nickname), or even Lee.

I'll BM ASAP I promise!

Scrottchen good work pointing out the chipset drivers, I'll investigate that tommorrow.

I forgot to mention also that I'm running the 1/31 Beta BIOS on this board. Seems that the most commonly used bios (other than stock) is the 1/21 Beta, so I'll try that sometime.

im at 2000x12 right now @ 1.7vcore. dont really wanna take it higher until i get a REAL hsf (i have a volcano7 heat sink with a crappy generic 3000rpm fan or something) because im running about 45C idle, 55 under load

what kinda voltages and cooling are you using?

oh yes and i agree, prime is for fags

Same problem here, please help.

Abit IS7 @ 275 FSB, OCZ PC4200 RAM @ 550Mhz, P4 2.4 @ 3.3Ghz Vcore @ 1.625, Sapphire Radeon 9800P @ stock, for now.

What do you mean 235x11 isn't good? That's damn good. Maybe not quite as good as Phials, but good. I have an A stepping 2400 mobile. Not the best stepping.

I have an slk-800 and vantec tornado on a rheo, which I leave at minimum most of the time.

Ram is Corsair XMS 3500 rev 1.1 :) (all bh-5)

At 235x11 i need 2 volts Phial (max the board does).

at 2000x12 I think i would need 1.8, but I'll investigate further.

At 235, and 240, I'm running 5-2-2-2 at 3.1 volts.

I'm sure I could go higher than 240 fsb actually, I just havn't tried any higher. Some people over at EOCF say that around 250+ the bios can get corrupted, which I think would require a hot flash. I'll nevertheless try above 240 at a later date.

Did you experience a change in your CPU's overclockability (or required voltage) after it 'burned in' Phial?

As far as temps, its probly 75ish in my room, and at 225x11 with the vantec on minimum, I'm like 38c idle, 44c load.

The children is our future...

We don't understand the concept of why we should study, or why we should get good grades, or why we should care about what's happening around the world. All we care about is how to be cool...

Hehe, see the system that works is getting rewards for doing well. Once u move past that age and it hits u that ur performance in school matters and you might as well not screw it up this far, you don't need rewards anymore. Tho the innocent drunk party during vacation can't hurt:)
