Update Profile Avatar

Hello,
I tried to change my avatar a bunch of times but it doesn't update. I tried .png and .jpg extensions. But only .png actually does something. But it still doesn't update the avatar. It appears to revert back to the original .png one. I even tried different file names. When I try to upload a .jpg one, it reverted back to the first avatar that I uploaded. Does Tom's Hardware cache my avatars? How does that happen?

I have noticed a lag in the past and I think sometimes the Mods have to ok it.

I have just looked and given an OK to your avatar, but it looks just like the current one to me.

PNG files should work ok as I am using one as well. When I made a small change it took a little bit to show up too.

I see. That explains it. I've re-uploaded my avatar. I'll just wait for a mod to okay them from now on. Thanks.

Well, you seem to have a shadow now. Is that the update you made?

Yes. It's also less pixelated. But it should be on a transparent background. I tried a few things from adding a bg to changing file names hoping something would work. Did I not upload the new one properly?

The image uploader can be a bit finicky, and you also have to wait for approval of your avatar, as well.
