When I try to update AOM Titans it downloads the updates but then
complains that I need to be a user with full admin rights.

I am such a user. In fact I'm the only user.

What's the solution?

Hi Steve,

Have you tried reinstalling the game with your main account after
verifying that it is indeed set up as an Administrator?

I am the only user and the administrator. I have installed everything
from scratch including XP, AOM and the Titans. AOM lets me do the
upgrade but the Titans fail complaining about admin rights.

Hi Steve,

Try upgrading it in Safe Mode, especially if you have a security
software package (suite) running on your system.

My games PC has no background security running.

I don't have a connection in safe mode. Do you know what the actual
upgrade file is called. Titans insists on downloading every time I
attempt to upgrade but I'm sure the file is already around somewhere.
