Question Update to Win10 20H2, Slows my SSD Write Speeds.

ADATA SU630 240GB SSD

Hi, when i update windows to version 20h2, afterwards i bench my ssd and the write performance has tanked and is at 40MB/s max, the read speed is unaffected however and is still at 500MB/s +.

Do u guys have any idea why this is happening? a simple windows 10 upgrade using win Update assistant and now my ssd performance is affected?? what gives??

it benched normal write speeds before i updated to 20h2. plz help.

. just built new pc, spec = A12-9800e, MSi A320m A pro, 8GB DR4 Gammix D10 3000Mz stick, Cylon 500w, With ADATA SU630 240GB Drive. I first benched it with novabench yesterday and result was = write 419mb, read 420mb. but now when i use same or even crystal disk mark i get 38mb/s. also...

Yes bud it is. i reinstalled windows last night and all was fine with read and write speeds. then i updated to the latest version of windows and boom... the write speed tanks on the ssd and goes to 40mb/s max. whats happening here bud do u have any ideas whats causing this??? plz respond

Please verify write cache is enabled on this drive.

But of ALL my SSDs, across multiple mabufacturers....none of them have had similar effects in the upgrade to 20H2.

100%, write cache is enabled in device manager.
