I have been building computers since I was a kid, back in the day you installed Windows then programs then updates after. But now with all the generic drivers etc. I wonder if things have changed. I build gaming computers all the time, and I do a fresh install of Windows 10 but question is...should I go right after the install and download the applications for the motherboard and GPU drivers THEN Update the crap out of WIndows 10? OR should I update windows 10 to the latest version and THEN install GPU drivers, applications, etc.
Guess i'm a bit confused these days
I always try to go to the motherboard manufacturer to download directly from them but generic drivers have seemed fine for some time. Just curious if anyone has a known nicer method or a reason why they do it a different (or the same) way.
