Build Advice Updated* 1st build in 10 years Asus / Intel fanboy build

This is my perspective I9 VR build! I'll also be using this for numerous FPS games.
I'm dead set on using Intel and Nvidia.
I' am a loyal Asus customer for the multiple out of warranty repairs they've done for me.
I haven't built a PC in about 10 years : \ so I thought the smart thing to do would be to get some opinions from you up-to-date enthusiasts. I'm in Southern California.
One of my questions would be on the video card I know I want Asus branded Nvidia 2080 I'm thinking super but which one? Also I'm looking for a case with great cable management and good cooling I'm not interested in RGB or Windows. I already own the OS.

Hyper 212 isn't enough for a 9900K

Overpriced monitor. You can get a plenty good 27" 1440p 144Hz FreeSync (and/or "GSync Compatible") monitor for $400. No reason to go full on GSync anymore. Nvidia GPUs are FreeSync compatible (via DisplayPort cable) since Jan 2019.

How close to LA do you live. There's a Microcenter in Tustin.

There's two things I would suggest right off the bat:

1) As was already said, do not buy a Hyper 212 for a 9900K. You need at least a Noctua U12 or D15.

2) As far as Black Friday goes, I would say right off the bat do not get your hopes up. High end stuff almost never gets very discounted. What usually gets discounted is the high inventory junk that stores can't move the rest of the year. You have a good build so far, I would tweak it a bit:

This doesn't include the monitor but does include the 9900KS which is thee 4GHz version of the 9900K, a much better recommended cooler, and a better PSU.

I will adjust it for processor and PSU but I insist on an Asus video card. I'm not into colorful lights on my components is there a cooler you could suggest without RGB? Also the case you suggested didn't get good reviews for air flow. Do you have a suggestion for a case with a better airflow ? I really appreciate the help and suggestions.... I don't want any lighting effects and I don't see paying for them when you don't want to use them. Is there a reason why I should use these and not a non RGB version?

Oh, yeah, no on the 660p SSD. QLC is no good for OS drive and you can get much better SSDs like the XPG SX8200 Pro or HP EX950 1TB for $120 on sales.
