I have a dh61ww mother board. So it started when I got a gigabyte rx 580 8gbs. I put it in my PC, and booted. No signal in my monitor, keyboard or mouse, but the led's on the card were on. Because the card didn't work, I updated my Bios to 048. Everything worked fine, but the card still didn't work so I updated to 099, and now when I boot I'm stuck on intel bios boot screen and all I can do is go on bios and boot settings, but the rx 580 now works! I tried downloading an even later version of bios through USB to fix the issue, but then the up date was failed, it said " fn update sample application error fwupda" and "0x8000000000000015" please help, I can't access my PC. I tried moving the jumper.

Solution
unplug power from the wall
reset the BIOS by jumper "clrCMOS"
be sure the jumper is set back correctly after the reset
power on again

try version 120
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23393/BIOS-Update-BEH6110H-86A-

if this doesn´t work, remove the reset jumper completely, rename the BIOS file to BE0120.BIO , move it to the root directory of an USB flash drive (formatted as fat32)
power on again, BIOS should update

Hey did you find any solution iam having the same problem

Yes, I had the same problem and after hours and hours of research and trying different things here is how it is done.

What you want to do is update the bios from version 099 to version 120 via the "INTEL BIOS recovery method". Other methods did not work!

Here is a link with instructions on how it is done:

https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/support/articles/000005630/boards-and-kits.html

I used the USB stick method listed on the webpage I've given.

Thank you sooo much for the link. I was facing the same problem and it worked. I also tried recovery mode but instead of opening the jumper, I shorted pin 1 & 2.

so, the steps are:
  • Download BE0120.BIO and save the Recovery BIOS file to a temporary directory.
  • Copy the recovery file (*.BIO) to a USB device.
  • Plug the device into a USB port of the target computer.
  • Shut down the computer and unplug the AC power adapter.
  • Open the chassis and remove the BIOS Configuration Jumper. (Generally it shortens pin 2 & 3, just remove the jumper). See the Technical Product Specification for details including the location of this jumper.

  • Power the computer on.
  • Wait 2–5 minutes for the update to complete.

  • The computer turns off when the recovery process is completed, or prompts you to turn it off.
  • Remove the USB device.
  • Replace the BIOS Configuration Jumper (image 2 above).
  • Close the chassis.
  • Restart the computer.
