Updated BIOS to 4.4, still no video display with Ryzen 2200g

Hi all,

I recently bought some parts (about two weeks ago!) and tried to get a mini-ITX build going. Bought the AB350 Gaming ITX/ac motherboard from AsRock. When installed, I tried to boot up and saw a blank screen on my monitor. Research showed I needed an older chip to flash the BIOS before being able to run the new one.

*BOUGHT* an A6 chip and flashed the BIOS to 3.6 (bridge BIOS), then to 4.4 and verified it while running the old AMD chip. Awesome! However, when installing the new Ryzen 2200g CPU back in, still a blank screen. Have switched back and forth a couple times to verify that one chip works (A6) and the other doesn't (2200g).

What could be wrong?!?

Have you tried clearing your CMOS by swapping the jumper back and forth on the bottom right of the board, as described in the manual? It's possible that some BIOS options are configured for the A6 processor now, and need to be reset.

Yes I have.

I've jumped back and forth between the processors repeatedly and ALWAYS set the jumpers to 2-3 to clear the CMOS before setting them to 1-2 and booting up.

Re-flashed BIOS to 4.4 (AGAIN!) and could run my A6 chip but not my Ryzen chip. Have switched back & forth repeatedly to ensure no loose cable connections, etc.

Any ideas?

Maybe trying the 4.43 beta BIOS might help? It might be worth contacting Asrock to see if they have any ideas.

I should have been clear. I originally updated to 4.40 but learned it's a bad BIOS. Over the weekend I have flashed to 4.43, rolled back to 3.6 and re-flashed 4.43, etc. NOTHING worked.

Have you solved your problem？ I have exactly same issue with you. AsRock AB350 Gaming ITX + AMD 2200g, BIOS updated, no signal, no usb power. But fan and hdd are operating normally. I tried everything, but can't solve it.
