hi , ok so its weird , i updated the driver for my sapphire 7750 low profile gpu then system restarted and right after the installer finished its job i launched a game and then i lost signal from gpu , so i restared the pc and still nothing

found out the moment i hit the power button to turn the pc on , the GPU fan does half a rotation then stops as if its not getting enough power , i experienced the same thing when i forgot to plug in the cable near the cpu on the mobo few years ago

sys spec:

gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition

7750 gddrd5

4gb 1066 ram

450w psu

i added the 7750 few years ago but the rest is pretty old , however i haven't had any problems before

i tried to install the old driver but windows doesn't recognize the card anymore , i noticed if i run the pc with the gpu on the mobo , gpu get hot so idk what it means but no fan or any other sign of it working

everything else works fine

i tried it on both PCIe slots many times and no luck , currently my pc is running with the onboard gpu

the only thing i can think of its that mobo went to onboard gpu mode and i have to manually change it? idk i never had this problem and idk if there is an option in bios for this

Update:

so i installed it againg and this time when i touched the top of the GPU to see if its getting hot or not its fan suddenly started working on max speed , i restarted the pc and it didnt turn on again so i touched the same area on its board and again its fan turned on and max rpm , windows still doesn't recognize the gpu

aaaaaaaaaand i just realized i should throw this old junk in the garbage , get a new pc and don't bother TH experts with my shit , but im broke af , fml *stares at wall*

Solution
Use system restore or roll back the driver. If it doesn't work, use DDU and install your driver again.

You can also get a better GPU for 50$ or less on eBay depending your luck.
