[SOLVED] Updated my hackintosh and now after apple boot screen it goes black. Please Help.

So I updated my hackintosh the other night and when I shut it down it updated something and I didn't bother to turn it back on because it was late and I needed to go to bed. Today I go to turn it on and it it goes through the normal Gigabyte motherboard boot screen, then proceeds to go to the multibeast bootloader boot screen, then goes to apple boot screen and the little wheel below the apple spins and then the screen just goes black. I have been trying to fix it for a while and I cant figure it out and I am frustrated and stressed because I need this computer to work very much. Thank-you very much to anyone who can help me. I am truly desperate.

First thing I would try is starting in safe mode. If that works you can then check whether any kexts have been updated and if so bring them all up to date. I don't know if it is still the case, but in the past Apple have been quite aggressive in taking steps to ensure that their software won't run in an unauthorised way.

Personally, I would think very carefully about using unsupported software, in a way that the maker specifically forbids, on a machine that I depended upon for work. Also I would keep a bootable clone of the OS so that any change can easily be reverted. I suspect that in a properly audited corporation such misuse of software would immediately be flagged by the auditors. Individuals don't have the same obligations as corporations but it is only sensible to apply sound business practices.
