we have an hp vectra here at work running 2k prof. "suddenly" when anyone tries to log on they get no icons. i logged on to the network and could see the script execute, but still the desktop is blank. i tried local admin, i tried safe mode and lkgc. also i cancelled and restarted the explorer.exe process, all with no luck. all other processes i get "access denied". any ideas?
UPDATED: i ran a 2k repair on that ladies system and its still doing the same thing.... no desktop icons. right before the wallpaper loads, there is a small image that flashes once in the top left corner of the screen. it can connect to the network, but no desktop.
