Hey guys, I recently updated my realtek sound drivers to the latest version. Before when I went to control panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound, "Headphones" used to be where I hear audio. Now after updating to the latest realtek driver the sound feels very empty and hollow, and now my "headphones" is replaced by "speakers." Still, my sound comes from the same headset but it seems to be much lower quality, any help would be appreciated!
Extra info: I have audiotechnica m50x headphones and gigabyte 990fxa ud3 motherboard.
~Thanks

Roll back the driver to the previous version using Device Manager:

Double-click the Realtek device in Device Manager.
Click the 'Driver' tab.
Click "Roll Back Driver".

Tip: generally it's unwise to update any driver unless the existing one is causing problems or the new one adds new features which you cannot do without.

Updating just because there is a newer version, and for no other reason, is bad practice.
Same applies to BIOS updates. If existing version is working okay, leave it alone!
