Exactly as the titles says, AMD has heard many complaints about B450 and X470 motherboards dropping support for upcoming processors based on the Zen 3 architecture, so they decided to change their mind.

They will help develop BIOS versions for B450 and X470 motherboards that will add support for Zen 3.

Public backlash can be a powerful thing. According to timeline of actual release this will be them keeping (most of) their promise about socket support as well.

I would love to be bummed about the lack of support for X370, but TBH with the issues I went though to get stable on a 2xxx series I have decided this motherboard and processor may live on together into infinity.
