[SOLVED] Updated the CPU but the performance is worse in CPU driven games.

Hi,

I had a cpu intel core duo E6550 and I've updated it to quad core q6600 in my Dell Optiplex 755. I've updated ram from 2gb ddr2 800mhz to 6gb ddr2 800mhz. Overall the performance is better now like in browsing and streaming but in games it is worse now. I was getting around 40 to 60 fps in CS 1.6 but now its worse its around 20. As CSGO is a cpu driven game so I think it should run smoothly too in this pc with newly components. Can anyone tell me whats the issue here.
(Note: There was no GPU installed previously and still its without GPU)

Probably ram not running in dual channel mode anymore.
