Question Updated z40e drivers to 2403 cant boot up anymore

Hello, last night I have tried to reinstall my windows and optimize my pc as best as possible, everything was running fine then I thought it would be a good idea to uldate the bios as well.
After everything was done, I updated it through the ez flash 3, the pc would start but it would get stuck on the logo loading screen. I can get into the bios but whatever I do I am still stuck at the loading screen. I have tried booting to an usb with windows on it, cant get through there either. I ve tried resetting the cmos, resetting the bios to default, but I still can't make it work.
There's no leds on the motherboard to show that something has gone wrong so I really have no idea how to solve this. Any help? Thanks a lot !
Specs if needed: asus rog z490-e

i7 10700k

Evga 2080 super

Corsair vengeance pro

samsung 970evo plus ssd

Hmm, I notice that BIOS 2103 mentions "enable ABT for 11th gen i9"

2301 "Support Windows 11 by default"

I wonder if either of these could have caused issue updating past being on a 10th gen and whether you are on W10 or not?

Which bios version should I start going back to?

Looking at the CPU compat list shows the 10700K you are using as being good from the get-go on 0403. The first mention of 11th gen is 2103, so perhaps 1003?
I don't see anything in the notes indicating that you can't go backwards on BIOS, so likely worth trying anyway. GL

Thanks a lot for the replies, now I am managing to go to the windows installing process but every time it just randomly freezes when installing, any idea what I could do about it ? Like sometimes it freezes on getting files ready for installation, other times as i input the activation key for windows. Any idea how I could solve this ? Thanks a lot !

Try with single ram module in slot A2.
Remove all the other modules. Turn off XMP (if enabled)

Go back to the same BIOS version you had and stop trying to fix something that is not broke they have been a ton of post that starts with I updated my BIOS now my crap is broke.

EDIT no need to do anything with the memory or CPU cooler nothing changed with that just a BIOS update that went wrong

I went back to the version I had before, but it still does not work
