Updates BEFORE Drivers??

Hey guys,

So I accidentally installed all my drivers except gpu (display) drivers before I installed all the updates of a fresh install of Windows 10 on a new build. Is this an issue or is it okay to install those before, and just the gpu drivers after? Please help soon, thanks in advance. 😀

It really shouldn't matter. After all, you will get plenty of updates *after* installing your drivers in the future anyway. Also, if you've installed any older drivers, Windows Update might install a newer version for you.

If you got no errors installing drivers, it isn't a problem.

The fresh install may have only been missing 4 patches anyway, I believe the DVD/USB installers are already the current build and you only need a cumulative update, update for malicious program scanner and perhaps some drivers.

I set up a Dell inspiron earlier and it had version 15063.383 already installed, the amount of work it takes to get up to date now is nothing compared to win 7.
