After a few years of downloading xp updates, what do you
do if you want to format your hardrive. Is there a way to
burn them to cd and re-install them later. Or do you have
to download them again...this would take forever! Please
help.

John, check the Windows Catalog Update Site. There you can download and
burn them to a CD.
