You already have more than enough RAM to run just about any application, especially any game. Any extra RAM you add will just sit there idle doing nothing.

If you have a storage issue you could get a 2 tb HDD or get a second SSD. You have 2 m.2 slots on that laptop, so you could get another m.2 ssd to add to what you have. But you will have to get a SATA III m.2 SSD because a NVMe driver wont work on that lap top.

Thanks for your response... It just seems like it is no longer screaming fast like it was 4 years ago. I AM running out of room but that's because I partitioned the hard drive and made the partition too small. The other partition has plenty of space.

Mainly, my ask was because it's going to be a MAJOR ordeal (for me, my first time) cracking this case down to the bones in order to replace the fan(s) and I figured while I was inside I should consider updating... I'm wondering if I messed up the link or something.. I don't think I have a SSD.

Yep that's the one. When I click on the link it says "You purchased this item on April 7, 2014."

ASUS ROG G750JZ 17-Inch Gaming Laptop (Intel Core i7-4700HQ, 2.4Ghz Turbo 3.4 GHz, 1 TB 7200 rpm Hard Drive Windows 8.1) Black

at the time it was the best ROG ASUS laptop model available from Amazon.
I don't have the model number from the back of the computer because all the stickers wore off of the bottom (yes, i actually use it in my lap, I've burned through 3 cooling pads). However, the info from my Amazon history link says the model number is: 90NB04K1-M00080
