Updating and patching for games

Hallo everyone I just got my new pc and I am wondering about updting the games. Should I install the last update for a game or should I install all the previous ones. For example Assassins creed unity, should i install the last one i think (1.50 patch) or should i go for 1.1 than 1.2 untill i reach the (1.50) ?

Most games will auto update itself when you open the application. It will probably update each patch one by one in consecutive order.
