[SOLVED] Updating bios not working

So i'm tring to update the bios on my msi h81m-p33 but everytime i try to do so it freezes, i just click on the version i want to update to but it just freezes and yes i left it like that for 1 hours with no luck, the mob works just fine but im stuck with version 1.1. any other way i can update my bios or a fix for this?

How are you updating the bios and which version are you trying to install?
You might have to install the M-flash updates first. 1.3 then 1.5 and then go to 1.9

Try 1.2, I just noticed that it also has an m-flash update in it.

Also consider trying the Live Update utility.

A much better question is why are you trying to update the BIOS?

Then use the QVL for the memory.

Your risking bricking the board for a problem you don't even have.
