I made my first build and accidentally bought a motherboard which is 6th generation whilst my new cpu is 9th generation.I just borrowed a 6th gen cpu to install bios, but i still plan to use my 9th gen cpu.So should i install windows on my computer then update the bios on my computer and then change my cpu to the 9th gen one from the 6th gen cpu.Or just update bios before installing windows, change cpu to the 9th gen then install windows?any help would be appreciated.

Solution
You need to buy a new motherboard regardless of the BIOS. Any motherboard that supports the 6th gen Intel CPUs WILL NOT support the 9th CPUs even though they share the same socket.
