[SOLVED] updating bios

Hi!

I have a gigabyte b450 aourus pro wifi that i want to update to the latest bios version. So i went to gigabyte's website and it was stated that before I update I need to install ec fw update tool. So I installed it and then my bios version became f42f(have version f32 before). Does it mean i can now install the latest version without installing(downgrading to) f40? The reason i am updating my bios is because i just ordered a ryzen 5.

If you on F42f now, just grab F63c, no reason to go backwards.

the FW tool is just needed if you ever intended to use 4 sticks of ram with new CPU.
