Question Updating BIOS

New Motherboard (new build)
Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master

2 part Question
Firstly
Probably going to need a BIOS re-flash, so initially with older BIOS will it boot up initially and give error message to just fail to Boot.
Every part is new so a lot of variables.
I have downloaded the latest BIOs for AMD and put on a Fat32 USB drive

Secondly
Can I put the USB drive in any USB socket - or is there a specific one for BIOS re-flash

check back of board there is a flash button and see in board manual witch of the usb port you need to use carefully read bios info on gigabyte for the os you use and the one you need to update .

Which Ryzen are you using? Bios should be compatible with Ryzen 7000 and 8000series.
Since MB has Q-Flash + button you are on the right path with preparing USB drive but read MB manual and follow instruction to last letter. According to manual USB port h is to be used for Q-lash.
USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A Port (Red) (Q-Flash Plus Port)
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 port supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 specification and is compatible to the USB 3.2 Gen 1
and USB 2.0 specification. Use this port for USB devices. Before using Q-Flash Plus (Note), make sure to insert the USB flash drive into this port first
