I have a Alienware laptop with a Nvidia Geforce 660M video card. The OS is Windows 7 SP1. I have been having a frustrating time updating the drivers for this video card. According to Windows Update the drivers are up to date but I understand that Nvidia has a device driver update (Version 347). In addition, I have discovered that the Nvidia Control Panel in Windows Control Panel does not function.

I obtained this following advice from a local computer shop:

Install the latest version of the Nvidia Driver, choose custom and DO NOT INSTALL NVIDIA EXPERIENCE. it has a bug in it. it's all over the net.

PS: you may want to D/L the drivers, then uninstall all nvidia stuff from the add/remove program before installing the new drivers.

I followed his advice but the drivers will not install. I need to install an Intel driver first. Does anyone know what Intel driver I need to install so that I can update the drivers for this video card?
